This year has been one of lots of changes for me. I lost both of my grandfathers and I was close to both of them. I've let go of a life I knew and stepped into a completely new one. Grief, transition and renewal have been moving through me in waves and it was hard, painful and at lonely at times while at the same time it was beautiful.
I know I'm not the only one.
So many of us are feeling and carrying a lot these days.
We get older, life shifts, the world feels unsteady and pieces of us fall away so new parts can grow.
What I've taken away from my experiences with grief this year is how beautiful it is when we give our feelings and our emotions space - especially grief - because the intensity of our grief and our pain just shos us what we truly loved and what has been precious to us.
And also if something ends In order to grieve something, it doesn't mean

About Sonja
Sonja is a Yin Yoga teacher and embodiment mentor who has been immersed in yoga and somatic exploration since 2010. She has been teaching Yin Yoga and Somatic Inquiry since 2019 and hosts classes, retreats, and teacher trainings in Mallorca and internationally.
Inspired by her own journey from burnout and perfectionism into balance and embodiment, Sonja’s work is rooted in the understanding that tension and imbalance in the body-mind arise when our thoughts, actions, and beliefs are not aligned with who we truly are.
Her approach combines yogic, Daoist, and nervous system-informed principles to create practices that invite people to slow down, release layers of tension, and reconnect with their body’s natural intelligence.
In her offerings, Sonja creates warm, grounded spaces that encourage presence through gentle movement, sensing, breath, and self-inquiry. Each practice becomes an exploration of alignment - not just of the body, but of one’s entire being.
Her teaching is soft yet precise, weaving embodiment, nervous system awareness, and time-relevant wisdom to guide students toward a more regulated, creative, and heart-centered way of living.
Through her Heart of Yin Method, Sonja shares an experiential approach that bridges science and soul - helping others find home within themselves.
