What awaits you is a transformative fusion of fluid Vinyasa Yoga, rejuvenating Yin Yoga, liberating embodiment practices and the exploration of the female energy body through a combination of the wisdom of the chakra and taoist energy systems, breath, meditation, chanting and interactive connecting practices.

Our fulfillment, fullness and magnetism as women is in our energy and not in our productivity. In our modern world we learn to direct our attention outwards to create and achieve goals. Yet it is the connection inward, the connection with ourselves and our bodies, that creates the foundation for how we show up in the world.
Our space and time together will be like a cocoon, where you are invited to leave all roles and daily chores behind and immerse yourself into an inward exploration.

We all have our habitual patterns that we go with day by day. The guided program is designed to help you move out of the strategic mind, relax into your body, connect to your inner compass, your heart and capacity to feel what is true for you.
It is an exploration into discovering more aspects of you and a more heartfelt energetic presence as a woman that you can bring to your life. An invitation to expand beyond what feels 'normal' for you - to feel new movements, new sensations and a new way of engaging through movement, meditation, breath and sound.
Fluid Vinyasa Yoga opens, cleanses and purifies the body and allows energy to move.
Liberating embodiment practices create space for exploration and creative expression.
Yin Yoga and meditation open a door to deep listening.
Breathing practices support a regulated nervous system.
Gentle sound waves and mantras have a healing effect on the body's energy system.
Reflective journaling allows you to bring yet undiscovered insights to paper.
The setting, imagine this
We will be staying at the Shala Bali, a beautiful retreat nestled between rice fields and palm groves in Ubud. It is a tranquil oasis hidden away in nature, yet only five minutes from walk to nearby cafes and a street accessible by car.
Our retreat village boasts an open shala overlooking the lush greenery and an infinity pool. Rooms are carefully designed and decorated with local handcrafts.
Wake up slowly to the sounds of nature, sip some fresh lemongrass tea while enjoying the silence before making your way to the morning meditation. From this grounded and silent place we move into our invigorating morning practice, followed by a nourishing breakfast. During the day you have free time, where you can take a walk along the rice paddies, visit one of the beautiful local cafes, sneak away with a book, unwind by the pool, spend time together with new friends in one of the communal areas or simply be and allow yourself to rest. We gather again in the afternoon to share and reflect, followed by another movement exploration or a slow Yoga practice to unwind depending on the day. We end the day together with home-cooked healthy dinner.

Let yourself be carried by the safe space of the retreat, even if you are traveling alone or for the first time. On every retreat, a unique and trustworthy community is formed, where we meet each other as equals, inspire each other, learn from each other, and share unforgettable moments.
Next to a comprehensive program, there is plenty of free time for you to enjoy the surroundings and give yourself a break. There are no musts, it is about moving at a pace that feels nourishing for you.

Getting there
The Shala Bali is located in beautiful Ubud, about a 60-90 minute drive from Denpasar airport. Our accommocation can organise the pickup from the airport for you by car for around 25 Euros, which can be shared by up to 3 people. There are also Taxis available at the airport. We will connect you with each other about 2 months before the retreat so you can also communicate with each other.
Investment in you
Our retreats are an investment in yourself. To ensure a cozy atmosphere and personal approach, we have very limited spots for this one-of-a-kind adventure. So we recommend booking sooner rather than later. Single rooms have enclosed bathrooms, shared rooms share bathrooms with 1-2 people. All shared rooms have beds that can be separated into single beds.

About Sonja
Sonja's great passion is Yin Yoga. She teaches classes, workshops, and retreats worldwide. Sonja's work is based on the understanding that imbalances and tensions are a consequence of holding onto habitual thoughts and belief patterns that are not in harmony with our nature. At the center of her teaching is the coming together of creative sequences, guided self-exploration, and the integration of all levels of being - body, mind, emotions, and energy. You can look forward to sessions of guided self-exploration - gentle and challenging at the same time, interwoven with timely wisdom and spirituality.
About Alena
Alena takes the inspiration for her Vinyasa and Embodiment practice from the rhythm of the nature. Blending the stability of Earth and the creative fluidity of water, she leads you into feeling. Through movement, through and into you. She is passioned about sensing energies and incorporates the wisdom of the chakra system into her flows. Exploring the sacred feminine has been her passion for the last years. She empowers you into softness, darkness, ancient wisdom to unleash the unstoppable power of a woman.
*Full payment of the retreat program costs (990 Euros) is required to save your spot. This payment is non-refundable. The remaining part for rooms and meals is due 60 days prior to the retreat. After that no more refunds are given.
